Lake Norman Weekend Events: Street Festivals, Band Of Oz, Equality March

From outdoor music to street festivals, there's a lot going on around Lake Norman and the Queen City this weekend.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- There’s a lot going on in the Lake Norman region this weekend, from festivals to outdoor concerts. The Friday Street Festival kicks off Friday in Cornelius, along with the Taste of Charlotte in uptown. Saturday, Lake Norman runners have their choice between the Tri Latta Sprint and the Rilla Run. Sunday, the Equality March takes place in First Ward Park, and Band of Oz plays in Davidson on the Village Green.

It's going to be a nice weekend to be outside this weekend, with warm temperatures and clear skies. Highs for the weekend will be in the 80s and 90s, with lows in the 60s. You can read more about the weekend forecast here.
