Man Killed In Huntersville Crash Identified
Huntersville police have identified the driver killed in a single-car wreck Sunday morning as Jerod Lane Mitchell, 18.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- An early morning single-car accident on McCoy Road Sunday left one 18-year-old man dead and another in the hospital with serious injuries, according to Huntersville Police Department.
Jarod Lane Mitchell, 18, was pronounced dead by paramedics on the accident scene in the 10000 block of McCoy Road Oct. 29, HPD said. His passenger, William Llano-Sierra, 18, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, the cause of the accident has not yet been determined and the incident remains under investigation. HPD asks that anyone with information about the accident contact Sgt. Nick Bruining at 704-464-5400.
