More Thunderstorms Possible In Huntersville: Weekend Forecast

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — More afternoon thunderstorms are expected in Huntersville this afternoon, and they could produce lightning, wind gusts and heavy rainfall, the National Weather Service said in a weather advisory Thursday.

The isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop throughout the region into the evening, and will stay in the forecast every day through Monday, NWS said.

While the weekend forecast looks rainy, there is one silver lining: daily highs are expected to taper from the low 90s into the 80s by Monday.
