Labor Day Fire In Huntersville Started On Deck: HFD
The fire caused significant damage to the house on Central Avenue, according to the Huntersville Fire Department.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC β A fire that started on the rear deck of a Huntersville home Monday evening left it significantly damaged, according to the Huntersville Fire Department.
HFD fire crews from two area fire stations responded around 10 p.m. Sept. 3 for a call reporting the blaze at the home in the 13000 block of Central Avenue in Huntersville.
βThe fire began on the rear deck of the home causing significant damage,β HFD said. It was extinguished in about 10 minutes.

The Mecklenburg County Fire Marshall and Huntersville Police are now investigating, HFD said.
