Police Believe Suspect Also Behind Cornelius, Mooresville Heists

Huntersville police are asking for help identifying a suspect who pulled out a gun during a robbery attempt at an area gas station.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Do you recognize this man? Huntersville police are asking for the public’s help identifying this suspect, who they say robbed a Huntersville gas station over the weekend and may also be linked to similar crimes in Cornelius, Mooresville and Troutman.

According to HPD, the suspect entered Cashion’s gas station located at 101 North Old Statesville Road on March 17 and showed the clerk a silver handgun. The suspect then walked out of the store without money and fired a shot into the air in the direction of the business.

“Believed to be related to robberies in Mooresville, Cornelius and Troutman the same night,” HPD said.
