Police Continue Search For Suspect Who Robbed Bank In Wig

Police are hoping someone in the community recognizes this man, who they say is wanted for robbing a bank wearing a blonde wig.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville Police continue their search for the identity of a man wearing a blonde wig who robbed a Huntersville bank Friday evening.

According to a police report, the incident occurred around 5 p.m. Dec. 13 at the BB&T Bank located at 16710 Northcross Drive in Huntersville.

“The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blonde wig, multi-colored shirt, and high heels,” HPD said.

The suspect did not use a weapon during the heist and no injuries were reported, HPD said.

HPD said that anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact HPD LieutenantSean Freeston at 704-464-5400.
