Rain and possibly severe storms are headed this way. Here's when you can expect rain this weekend.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — As you make your plans for the weekend, make sure you have some indoor options because it could be a soggy weekend in Huntersville, according to a National Weather Service forecast.
Temperatures will remain mild going into the weekend, with highs around the 88 predicted for the entire weekend. However, the pleasant temperatures will be paired with cloudy skies and, likely, rain that NWS says could become severe at times.
The chance of rain creeps into the weekend forecast beginning Friday, when there’s a 20 percent chance of rain during the day. By Saturday, skies will grow cloudy with at least a 50 percent chance of rain for most of the day.
