Pups In The Pool, LoveFest: Weekend In Huntersville

There are lots of fun things going on around Lake Norman this weekend, from stargazing from a kayak to live music at Primal Brewery.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — From stargazing from a kayak on Mountain Island Lake to live music at Primal Brewery and a day for pups in a pool,there are plenty of fun events to check out around Davidson and Cornelius this weekend.

Here are five events to check out this weekend near Huntersville:

  • Growers' Market — Saturday, Sept. 1, 8 a.m. - noon. 201 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville.
  • Pups in the Pool — Saturday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics, 11725 Verhoeff Dr., Huntersville.
  • LoveFest — Saturday, Sept. 8, 4 p.m. - 11 p.m. Primal Brewery, 16432 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville.
  • Stargazing Kayak Tour on Mountain Island Lake — Saturday, Sept. 8, 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Latta Plantation Nature Center, 6211 Sample Road, Huntersville.
  • Field of Honor — Sept. 4-18, 201 Huntersville-Concord Road, Huntersville.
