Rain, High Winds Headed To Huntersville This Week: Forecast
Strong thunderstorms with high winds could are expected midweek in the Charlotte metro region this week, the National Weather Service says.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — The work week in the Charlotte metro area is off to a gorgeous start, with near summerlike temperatures and loads of sunshine. That will all change by Wednesday, however, when there’s a chance of thunderstorms with wind gusts up to 21 miles per hour, according to forecasters.
The storms moving into the area midweek are part of a strong system moving through the southeast late Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, which is expected to also bring scattered to widespread thunderstorms to north and central Georgia in the overnight hours.
The front will bring with it a temperature drop, with highs the rest of the week staying in the 60s.
