Seat Belt Stop Leads To Drug Charges For Three In Huntersville

Huntersville police officers conducting a seat belt initiative arrested three on firearms violations and drug charges, HPD said.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A traffic stop during a seat belt operation in Huntersville Saturday led to the arrest of three people on drug charges, according to the Huntersville Police Department.

According to HPD, Eric Jaimes, Cynthia Gonzalez and Pedro Jaimes-Villagomez were arrested.

Jaimes was charged with carrying a concealed gun, felony possession of marijuna, felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell or distribute marijuana.
