Shorts Weather: Summer Weather Arrives In Huntersville This Week
This week the Lake Norman region will get a taste of summer. Here's how hot it will get.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — While the start of the work week was off to a chilly start Monday, this week will be filled with sunshine and warm summer-like temperatures, according to forecasters.
If the bracing temperature Monday morning caught you off guard, there’s a reason. The 36-degree low we felt going out the door was a record for the Charlotte-metro region, according to National Weather Service. The last record for April 30 was set in 2008, when the low was 37 degrees.
The mercury will definitely rise this week, however, with temperatures reaching nearly 90 degrees by Friday. Rain is nowhere to be seen in this week’s forecast until the weekend, when Saturday evening sees a 30 percent chance of showers.
