Shredding Event In Huntersville: How To Get Rid Of Old Documents

The Huntersville Police Department is holding a community shred event. Here's how you can get rid of your old and unwanted paper documents.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — The Huntersville Police Department is holding a community shred event Saturday, Sept. 21.

Residents will be able to shred up to four bank-sized boxes of paper personal documents, like bank statements, for free, HPD said.

The event will be held at Truliant Federal Credit Union, located at 9705 Gilead Road in Huntersville, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
