This week, contractor associated with the private development south of Plum Creek, in coordination with NCDOT, will be closing the portion of NC-115 between Plum Creek and Hambright Road to complete road work associated with the development. Work is currently slated to begin Thursday, April 30th and should be completed within the next 10 days, weather pending. There will be a signed detour through this section similar to the one a few months back routing traffic from NC-115 to Verhoeff and US21 to Hambright and vice versa for southbound/northbound traffic respectively.
