Sunshine Ahead: Here’s When Rain Ends In Huntersville

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — The start of the work week after a long holiday weekend is off to a dreary start, however conditions will soon improve, according to forecasters. The fog and drizzle of Monday’s morning commute will clear up by evening, leading into a spate of sunshine-filled days for most of the week.

While conditions will remain sunny and clear Tuesday through Thursday, there will be a cold snap midweek. Wednesday’s high will likely not climb above 45 and the evening low will be well below freezing at around 28, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance of rain moves back into the forecast by Saturday, when the likelihood of showers stretches into Sunday.

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11am. Areas of fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 57. South wind 9 to 16 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly clear, with a low around 31. West wind 6 to 11 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 48. West northwest wind 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
