Charlotte area drivers should anticipate I-77 lane closures this week due to ongoing toll lane construction. Here's what you need to know.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- Charlotte commuters should expect lane closures on I-77 and I-85 this week as part of the toll-road construction project, according to project developer, I-77 Mobility Partners.

According to I-77 Mobility Partners, lane closures from May 15- 21 will include the following:

Northbound I-77
Expect lane closures from the I-85/I-77 interchange to Exit 16 as follows:

  • Monday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 17 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Expect lane closures from the I-485/I-77 interchange overpass to Exit 25 as follows:

  • Monday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 17 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Southbound I-77
Expect lane closures from Exit 30 to Exit 25 as follows:
