HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A 42-year-old Lincolnton man was arrested over the weekend in Huntersville after police found heroin, cocaine and controlled substances in his vehicle during a stop for a minor traffic violation.

According to Huntersville Police Department, the discovery was made when Jerry Dean Bailey was pulled over for the violation on Sept. 28.

“Subsequent to the stop, and thanks to a thorough investigation by the officer, the driver, later identified as Jerry Bailey, was arrested for Trafficking Heroin, Possession with Intent to Sell/Distribute Cocaine, Simple Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,” HPD said.
