Truck, Trailer With $15K Worth Of Goldfish Snacks Stolen: HPD

Two suspects stole a truck, trailer and about $15,000 worth of Goldfish crackers in an early morning heist, HPD said.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville police are asking for the public’s help locating a truck and trailer filled with $15,000 work of Goldfish crackers, stolen from a mini-storage facility before dawn Monday.

The heist occurred around 3 a.m. Monday morning at Huntersville Mini Storage, located at 14231 Hunters Road.

According to Huntersville Police Department, two suspects entered the property and stole a Red Ford F250 pick-up truck, attached to a white enclosed trailer. Inside the trailer was about $15,000 worth of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish snacks.

The suspects, described as two while males, were in an older model Ford F150, believed to be possibly pewter or beige, with a chrome tool box sitting on an open tailgate. One suspect was wearing a khaki jacket and dark jeans. The second suspect was wearing a black jacket with a white emblem over the left chest, and khaki pants.

“Suspect vehicle had a single amber light on the roof and what appeared to be a flagpole on the rear driver side corner of the tailgate,” HPD said.
