Video: Masked Man Lurking Outside NorthStone Home In Huntersville
The footage taken early Thursday morning shows a fully masked person outside a home in the Huntersville country club neighborhood.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A masked man was caught on video lurking outside a home in the NorthStone community early Thursday morning, and was attempting to gain entry to a car parked in the driveway and possible the garage, the homeowner told Patch.
A brief clip of the home security video footage, taken around 2:23 a.m. at a home near Northstone Drive and Cadgwith Cove Drive, shows a person walking outside the home with their head and face fully masked.
“I’m surprised he would come on this side, we live at the end of a cul-de-sac,” said homeowner Noelle Burton. “He was sneaky. He was cutting through the backyard of our neighborhood.”

Burton told Patch that earlier in the evening, she checked to make sure her husband’s car was locked and found it hadn't been.
“Thanked god I did,” she said. “The guy could have used our remote control to do a home invasion,” she said.

Burton is hearing anecdotally that other attempts to gain access to neighbors’ cars were made last night as well. “He’s been all over NorthStone,” she said.
