The cold snap is officially behind us, with sunny skies for days in the Queen City region. Here's your forecast for the week.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- It’s ok to put the down parka, gloves and earmuffs back into the closet, Huntersville. The frigid cold snap the region endured over the weekend is gone and there will be sunny skies for days, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures this week will top out in the mid-60s, with lows in the 40s. Rain won’t creep back into the forecast until Saturday, when there’s a 40 percent chance of showers during the day.
