Woman Arrested After Selling Heroin To Undercover Cop: HPD
Tonnesha Geary-Jones sold more than 3 ounces of heroin to an undercover officer, according to Huntersville Police.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A Charlotte woman was recently arrested in Huntersville after she sold an undercover officer a “trafficking amount of heroin,” according to the Huntersville Police Department.
According to Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office arrest records, Tonnesha Tayonna Geary-Jones, 25, was initially arrested May 15 and charged with felony possession of cocaine and Schedule I controlled substance, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
The next day, she was charged with 20 counts of drug-related offenses, including multiple counts of trafficking and possession with the intent to distribute heroin.

“Throughout the investigation she sold nearly 3.5 ounces of heroin,” HPD said. “When she was arrested she had additional heroin, prescription pills, methamphetamine, and cocaine inside her vehicle. A search of her residence also resulted in the seizure of an additional 4 ounces of heroin, 5 pounds of marijuana, and methamphetamine.”
