Woman Wanted For Larceny On The Run In Huntersville

Brandy Elaine Degraffenreid is wanted for multiple counts of habitual larceny. She cut off her monitor in Huntersville Sunday, police said.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police are asking for the community’s help locating a woman who is wanted for several crimes and on the run after cutting off her court-ordered electronic monitor, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

According to a police report, Brandy Elaine Degraffenreid, 41, cut off the monitor Sunday that she was ordered by the courts to wear as a condition of pretrial release. She is wanted for multiple counts of habitual larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, as well as damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

She was last known to be in the area of 109 Gibson Park Drive in Huntersville Oct. 14, CMPD said. She is described as 5 foot, 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about her whereabouts contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
