• RPD assists investigation leading to armed robbery arrest (yourdailyjournal.com) — An armed robbery suspect has been arrested after investigators linked him to holdups at Wingstop and Indian Trail Tobacco and Vape in Union County, plus a Rockingham beauty shop. Rockingham police helped identify the getaway car, leading to a Monroe search warrant, multiple felony charges, and the suspect being held without bond while the investigation continues.
