Services will be held Friday, April 24, with visitation beforehand and burial at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. Her family invites the community to remember her kindness, music, and deep love for others.

• Complaint details allegations against a councilman in Cleveland County (shelbystar.com) — Kings Mountain’s city government is facing fresh turmoil as Councilman Scott Neisler is investigated over alleged ethics violations and complaints about his conduct with staff and developers. An outside attorney may cost up to $20,000, and residents are sharply divided, with some backing Neisler and others criticizing the city manager and council’s transparency.
