• Lexington police probe two related crashes; pedestrian critical, EMS wreck kills 1 (abc45.com) — Lexington police are investigating two linked crashes Monday that left a 31-year-old local pedestrian in critical condition and another driver dead after an EMS ambulance collided with their vehicle on South Main Street. The pedestrian, first struck at East Center and North Salisbury streets, was twice transported by EMS and is now being treated at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center as officials continue their investigations.
