Restaurant Inspections: 10 Violations In This Mooresville Kitchen

MOORESVILLE, NC β Recent kitchen inspections at Mooresville-area restaurants turned up a variety of violations, from dirty dishes stored as clean to out of date food, with one area fast food restaurant racking up 10 violations.

An inspection at Steak N Shake on June 19 found 10 violations, including dishes and food containers βsoiled with food residues when they were supposed to be clean.β Food, such as raw burger patties and lettuce, had to be thrown out because it was found held at a potentially hazardous temperature, according to the inspection report that also recommended areas of the kitchen were in need of cleaning.

An inspection at Joelβs Asian Grill & Sushi Bar found a sanitizer dispenser wasnβt working and at Pomodoroβs, some food items were found held at hazardous temperatures or were out of date and had to be discarded.
