MOORESVILLE, NC — The 2018-2019 school year is winding down with only about a month of school left before the final bell for summer.
The remaining last few weeks will disappear quickly in a flurry of end-of-the-year activities.
Here are 15 key dates you need to know if you have children who are attending Mooresville Graded Schools or Iredell-Statesville Schools.
Mooresville Graded Schools
May 1: No School — Optional Teacher Workday

May 8: Early Release

May 16: Mooresville High School Spring Band Concert — 7 p.m.
May 18: Mooresville High School Prom
May 27: No school, Memorial Day
June 7: Last day of school
June 8: MHS Class of 2019 Graduation — 8:30 a.m. Langtree Charter Academy in Mooresville also has their very first commencement ceremony, at 10:30 a.m. at the Charles Mack Citizen Center.
Iredell-Statesville Schools
May 4: Collaborative College Technology & Leadership Prom — 8 p.m.
May 8: Early Release day
May 11: West Iredell High School Prom
May 18: North Iredell High School, Statesville High School Prom
May 27 : No school, Memorial Day
June 7: Last day of school
June 8: Graduation
