16-Year-Old Runaway Located, Back Home: Iredell Sheriff
Lizzy Chavez has been located and is now at home with her mother, officials say. She had been reported missing Tuesday.

STATESVILLE, NC — A 16-year-old Statesville teen who authorities said ran away from home earlier this week has been located and returned home to her mother, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office said Friday morning.
Lizzy Coseth Lorenzana Chevez, 16, was last seen by her mother in their home on Fraley Road in Statesville on Jan. 28, ICSO said Thursday. Her mother filed a report with the Sheriff’s Office the next day after she discovered her missing at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
After interviewing her friends, officials said she may be with a hispanic man in his early 20’s from Charlotte who goes by the name Cristhiane or “Chrasfell” and drives a black Chevrolet Camaro, ICSO said.
