Here are five dates you should be aware of on the Mooresville Graded School District calendar for the 2018-2019 school year.

MOORESVILLE, NC — The 2018-2019 school year is almost here, and while students may be dreading it, the time has come to make preparations for the upcoming school year.

All Mooresville Graded School District students will be back in school by Aug. 27. The return is immediately followed by another break, with no school Monday, Sept. 3 (Labor Day).

Here are five other important dates on the MGSD public schools calendar that you should be aware of during the first few months of the year.

  2. Oct. 1: No School, Teacher Workday
  3. Oct. 2: Interim Report Cards
  4. Oct. 31 - Nov. 2: No School, Fall Break
