MOORESVILLE, NC -- If youβre looking for something fun this weekend, Patch has you covered.
As you plan your weekend, youβre going to want to keep your eye on the weather. It's going to be a great weekend to spend outdoors in the Lake Norman region, as temperatures creep back to almost 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Skies will be clear heading into the weekend, with temperatures peaking Friday at 78 degrees. A small chance of rain will also move it by Saturday morning, bringing with it slightly cooler temperatures. The overnight lows are expected to hover in the mid- to high 50s.

- Running with the Blue Devils 5K/10K: Coach Joe Popp Stadium, 160 S. Magnolia St., Mooresville. Saturday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. You can register for the race here.
- 41st Annual Working Fingers Craft Show: Charles Mack Citizen Center, 215 N. Main Street, Mooresville. Saturday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Davidson Cookie Crumb Trail: Holiday shopping and cookie eating kicks off in downtown Davidson Nov. 4, with the Cookie Crumb Trail event. With a $20 ticket, participants will be given a cookie "passport" and cookie collection bag that can be filled from participating town merchants. Saturday, Nov. 4, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Pirates Christmas Weekend at Carolina Renaissance Festival: Each weekend through Nov. 19 you can find costumed players recreating days gone by at the Carolina Renaissance Festival, held north of Charlotte between Concord and Huntersville. 16445 Poplar Tent Road in Huntersville. Weekends Sept. 30 - Nov. 19, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Insane Inflatable 5K -- Run, bounce and laugh your way through this unique race. Saturday, Nov. 4. Charlotte Motor Speedway, 5555 Concord Parkway, Concord. 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
