5 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Mooresville: Sept. 22-24

MOORESVILLE, NC — Autumn is officially here, and it’s going to be a great weekend to get outside. Be sure to check out these fun events on tap for the weekend.

This weekend, Mooresville will have clear skies and warm temperatures to look forward to, according to the National Weather Service. Highs through the weekend will top out at 85 on Saturday, and lows will stay in the mid 60s, NWS said.

Here is Mooresville Patch’s list of five fun things to do this weekend:

• Farmers Market: Head to Liberty Park (225 E. Iredell Ave.) in Mooresville to pick up fresh veggies Saturday morning, from 8 a.m. to noon.

• Lake Norman Dance Cruise -- Celebrate National Ballroom Dance Week by cutting a rug on a boat. Boarding begins at 5 p.m. at All Seasons Marina on Lake Norman, 827 Langtree Road, Mooresville, Saturday, Sept. 23. The cruise begins at 5:30 p.m.

• Yoga on the Green -- Davidson’s Town Green turns into a yoga studio Saturday afternoon in an afternoon of free yoga, demonstrations and live music. Saturday, Sept. 23, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

• The Amazing Maize Maze: Rural Hill hosts this annual event featuring more than seven acres of mazes for one of the largest corn maze experiences in the southeast. Historic Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Road, Huntersville. Runs through Nov. 5.

• Museum Day Live! -- Museums across the country including 31 museums in North Carolina will be opening their doors for free Saturday as part of “Museum Day Live!”. Saturday, Sept. 23.
