Do you recognize this truck? Iredell authorities said it stole a 53-foot refrigeration trailer from a 7-Eleven store in Statesville.
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Authorities in Iredell County are asking for the public’s help identifying a truck it said was used to steal a 53-foot long refrigeration trailer parked at a Statesville convenience store Sunday.
The victim told the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office that he had parked the trailer near diesel pumps at the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 849 Turnersburg Highway in Statesville around 12:30 p.m. on May 18. When he returned the next day, however, the “Thermos King” refrigeration trailer was gone.
ICSO investigators reviewed security footage from the store and discovered that shortly after 3 a.m., Sunday morning, a red or orange semi-truck with an unidentified emblem pulled into the parking lot, hooked up to the trailer and drove away.
