Autopsy Underway For Woman Found Dead In Mooresville Parking Lot

MOORESVILLE, NC -- An autopsy will be performed Monday on a 23-year-old woman found dead in her car at Brawley Commons Shopping Center over the weekend, Mooresville police say.

Alexandria Leigh McNeely, 23, was found around 9 a.m. Dec. 3 in a car in the shopping center on Brawley School Road, and pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics, MPD said in a statement. Her body has been transported to North Carolina Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem for an autopsy, scheduled for Dec. 4, to determine cause of death.
