Boating & Water Safety Event Set For June 29 In Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC — The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, along with Onyx Outdoors and Academy Sports + Outdoors is hosting a Lake Safety Event in Mooresville Saturday.

During the June 29 event, which runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., the sheriff’s office lake patrol unit will be conducting free boat and safety equipment inspections for boaters.

Academy Sports + Outdoors and Onyx Outdoors will also be distributed boating educational information and gift cards.

The event will take place at the Pinnacle Access Area off of Highway 150, west of Mooresville.
