Body Pulled From Lake Norman In Mooresville Following Search
The 41-year-old man, who was identified as Gregory Moore, 41, reportedly fell into the lake while tubing without a life jacket.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Following a lengthy search by rescue crews, the body of a 41-year-old man was pulled from Lake Norman in Mooresville Sunday evening, according to reports.
Gregory Moore, 41, went missing while tubing with friends, WSOC reported. He was not wearing a life jacket, the station said.
For hours, rescue crews from Huntersville, Denver, Davidson, Mooresvillle, Cornelius and other surrounding areas searched the section of the lake near Stonemarker Road. It's an area of water known as "no man's land" because it isn't covered by a specific agency for recovery, WBTV said.
