Christmas 2017: Mooresville Area Grocery Store Hours

MOORESVILLE, NC — Some days are more difficult to be a procrastinator than others. But Christmas may be the absolute worst day of the year for people who regularly put off today what they can do tomorrow. If you're one of these people, Patch has you covered with a list of stores that will be open — at least part of the day on Christmas.

These options will not only be a life saver for your holiday dinner, but they may also help you out find a last-minute gift for that relative or friend you weren't expecting. Don't forget that grocery stores also sell things other than groceries.

Publix
Stores are open on Christmas Eve, but will close at 7 p.m. Those hours, however, may vary by location. All stores and pharmacies are closed on Christmas Day. On New Year’s Eve, all stores will close at 9 p.m. Stores are also open on New Year's Day, but closing times may also change based on location. Customers can go here to verify store hours.

Food Lion
Stores will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and will be closed on Christmas Day.

Stores will close at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24, and will be closed on Christmas Day. All stores will close at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

Whole Foods
Charlotte and Lake Norman area stores will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and will remain closed on Christmas Day. On New Year’s Eve, area stores will open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They will also open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on New Year's Day.

Costco
Charlotte-area Costco stores will be open 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, and will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The stores will be closed on both Christmas and New Year's Day.

Target
All stores will open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Stores will be closed on Christmas Day. On New Year's Eve, all stores open at regular time — either 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. — and will close at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. On New Year's Day, all stores open at regular time and will close at 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight.

Sam's Club
Stores will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Harris Teeter
Stores will be closed Christmas Day.

Walmart
Stores will be closed on Christmas and open on regular hours on New Year's Day.

CVS
On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, select CVS Pharmacy stores will be open and front store and pharmacy hours will vary by location. For a list of CVS Pharmacy locations in a given area, customers can go here. CVS pharmacies within Target stores will also be closed on Christmas Day.
