Community Tips Lead To Major Drug Bust In Mooresville: Sheriff
Tipped off by neighbor complaints, Sheriff's deputies found $30,000 in drugs and cash in a west Mooresville home Wednesday.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A Mooresville man is behind bars following a drug bust sting that seized a narcotics haul worth at least $30,000, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
The May 23 bust was launched after neighbors complained to law enforcement that suspect David Stikeleather’s Regency Road home had “lots of activity and vehicle traffic at all hours of the day and night,” Sheriff Darren Campbell said in a statement.
The tips prompted narcotics investigators to initiate a surveillance operations on the home located at 160 Regency Road, and they determined he was living there and selling drugs, Campbell said.

ICSO detectives and deputies executed a search warrant on Wednesday, May 23, which is when they found the drugs, along with $20,000 in cash.

Among the items founds were:
- 4 pounds of marijuana
- 116 grams of marijuana “wax”
- Two sets of digital scales
- Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD)
- Prescription narcotics not prescribed to the suspect


He was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center and his bond has been set at $125,000, ICSO said.
