IREDELL COUNTY, NC — An Iredell County man who was out on bond was put back in handcuffs and now faces drug and firearm charges after an undercover crack cocaine drug buy in Statesville, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an ICSO report, Juwan Anthony Hester, 34, was arrested Friday, June 21 at his home in the 3000 block of Hickory Highway in Statesville.

The Sheriff’s office received information earlier this month that Hester was selling crack cocaine out of his Statesville home, one year after undercover narcotics investigators purchased the drug from him during a separate investigation.

Investigators set up surveillance of Hester’s home and again buy crack from him, which led to a search warrant.

“As a result of this investigation, Hester was again arrested for Felony Maintaining a Dwelling, Vehicle or Place for Controlled Substances, and Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon for a weapon located inside the residence during the search,” ICSO said.
