Crews Respond To Overnight Chimney Fire In Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC — Fire crews from Lake Norman Volunteer Fire Department, Mooresville and Mount Mourne responded to a house fire on Mooreland Road Sunday evening. The fire was believed to have started in the chimney and spread into part of the attic, according to Mooresville Fire & Rescue.

“A quick knock down was made with minor damage to the home,” Mount Mourne Fire Department said.
