ICYMI: What Kitchen Inspections Found At Dennyβs, Sagebrush
Recent kitchen inspections found a range of infractions, from filthy pans to kitchens in need of repairs and cleaning.
MOORESVILLE, NC β Recent health inspections at five Mooresville area restaurant kitchens found numerous violations, from a walk-in freezer ceiling caving in to black growth in an ice machine.

All recently inspected restaurants in Mooresville kept their "A" health rating, however multiple violations were found.

A Feb. 18 inspection at Sagebrush found six violations,including a dirty can opener and βthe majority of the metal pans (all sizes) on the clean dish shelves were soiled with residue & debris despite being stacked as clean,β the report said. Multiple areas in the kitchen were also in need of cleaning or repair.
A dozen violations were reported at Dennyβs Restaurant during a Feb. 18 inspection. According to the report, the inspection found black residue in the ice machine, dented food cans, gravy held at the improper temperature that needed to be thrown away, metal containers were stacked wet, as well as equipment in need of repair and cleaning. βObserved the ceiling in the walk-in freezer is starting to cave in,β the report said.
