Deputies Posted At Iredell Schools To Greet Students On First Day

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Deputies from Iredell County Sheriff’s Office were posted at county schools Thursday, as students returned to class for the 2019-2020 school year.

“We want all of our citizens to know we are committed to making and keeping, children, families, teachers and all school staff members safe,” Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell said in a statement. “We are much more comfortable today knowing more deputies are on [the] premises of our schools.”
