Dirty Meat Slicer: What Recent Iredell Kitchen Inspections Found
Iredell County restaurants recently inspected all kept their 'A' rating, but here's a peak at some of the infractions found in the kitchen.
MOORESVILLE, NC — A dirty meat slicer, food kept at improper temperatures and raw chicken stacked above other meats in a walk-in cooler were some of the infractions found during recent kitchen health inspections in Iredell County.

While all the area kitchens recently inspected kept their ‘A’ ratings, inspectors noted several infractions that affected their health scores.
At the Hilton Garden Inn Grille in Statesville, for example, an inspection found a dirty meat slicer and dirty tongs, undated food and raw chicken stored improperly over other meats in the walk-in cooler. At Hong Mei Buffet in Mooresville, an inspection found mussels and sausage stored at potentially hazardous temperatures in a walk-in cooler, as well as dirty scoops in dry food storage.
