Donated Patrol Dog, Jaag, Joins Iredell County Sheriff’s Office
Jaag is a nearly two-year-old Belgian Malinois and is trained in tracking and narcotics detection, the sheriff's office said.

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has a new member — Jaag, a nearly two year old Belgian Malinois patrol dog donated to the department.
The new addition brings the canine units up to nine patrol dogs and two bloodhounds.
“Jagg is certified in Tracking, Article Searches, Patrol Work, and Narcotics Detection,” ICSO said.

Jaag is assigned to handler Deputy Joseph Hodges, who has been employeed by the sheriff’s office for nearly three years. Hodges is also trained to handle Canine Marley, one of the county’s two bloodhounds.
