Driver Plows SUV Through Mooresville Sports Bar
Witnesses at Hot Shots said before climbing in behind the wheel the man was angry that the bar said he was too drunk to be served.

MOORESVILLE, NC — An SUV plowed through the front of a Mooresville sports bar filled with patrons Thursday night, and witnesses said the driver, was drunk and angry that the bar wouldn’t serve him.
Multiple people were injured in the crash, according to reports.
“Witnesses report this was an intentional at, the result of a fight outside,” Iredell County Firewire tweeted shortly before 5 p.m.

According to at least one witness, the driver was drunk, and bar management refused to serve him. “It sounded like a hand grenade went out, just a big loud boom and shattering,” Tyler Knight, who works at Hot Shots, told WSOC. “
The suspect, who’s identity has not yet been released by authorities, was arrested.
