Fire Reported At Pike’s Garage In Downtown Mooresville
Crews from three fire departments responded to the Friday morning blaze reported at the downtown Mooresville garage.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Crews from three fire departments responded to a fire at Pike’s Garage on Broad Street in downtown Mooresville Friday morning after a vehicle inside the garage awaiting repairs caught fire, according to a Town of Mooresville spokesperson.
Mooresville Fire-Rescue, along with volunteer fire departments from Mount Mourne and Shepherds responded to the blaze in the building located at 210 North Broad Street. Mooresville Police Department and Iredell EMS also responded, said spokesperson Kim Sellers.
“MFR units located an occupant inside the structure attempting to extinguish the fire. Fire was extinguished and no injuries occurred,” Sellers said.
The fire is now under investigation by the fire marshal’s office, she said.
