The school year is almost over. Here's a list of locations in Mooresville offering free breakfast and lunch for children this summer.
MOORESVILLE, NC — As the school year winds down for the summer, some children face the prospect of going without meals during the day. In Mooresville, a list community partners are providing breakfast and lunch for children while school is not in session.
One in six children in America suffers from real hunger. These kids live in every state and every county in the nation. North Carolina is home to 479,220 hungry children, including 45,370 in Mecklenburg County.
Here’s a list of summer feeding locations, according to the Mooresville Graded School District:

- Meals served Monday through Friday, June 10 — Aug. 5
- Breakfast will be served from 8:45 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch will be served from noon - 12:45 p.m.
