With our weekly list of new properties in your area, you can stay on top of the scene. Here's a sampling of the latest batch of new houses to hit the housing market in and around Mooresville — including a house with 3 beds and 2 baths for $239,900, and another with 5 beds and 4 baths for $695,000. (Mooresville Patch)
- Thirty-five-year-old Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is the official winner of the 65th Daytona 500. He strategically drove through wrecks and crashes with professionalism and dexterity to make it to the front of the pack and take home the big win, putting the spotlight on JTG-Daugherty Racing, reportedly one of NASCAR's smallest teams. Perhaps it was the message "We Believe" that reportedly, Mike Kelley, Stenhouse's crew chief, put on a piece of duct tape on the roll bar of Stenhouse's car, just before the race, that made all the difference. Whatever it was, Stenhouse and JTG-Daugherty Racing are on top of the world after this weekend's win! Congratulations! (NBC Sports)
