Here's How To Get Rid Of Old Electronics, Paint In Mooresville
This upcoming event will give Mooresville residents opportunity to ditch old electronics or household hazardous waste.
MOORESVILLE, NC — It’s spring cleaning time, which means it’s time to come to terms with ditching piles of junk that inevitably accumulate in corners of garages and in the backs of closets. Iredell County authorities are making it easy to get rid of those items, like electronics and old paint cans, that can’t normally be tossed.
The Electronics Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event is set for Saturday, April 27 at the Mooresville Public Operations Center, located at 2523 Charlotte Highway in Mooresville, from 8 a.m until 12:30 p.m.
“One of the big reasons we’re so excited to be able to offer this event is because it’s convenient for our residents,” said acting Town Manager Ryan Rase. “Prior to us offering this event in our corporate limits, Mooresville and South Iredell residents would have to drive to Statesville to use their landfill. This event has been really well received, and we see a lot of people each time we offer it.”
