Iredell County House Cleaner Charged With Stealing Jewelry: ICSO
House cleaner Tara Nicole Cleary, 27, is accused of stealing jewelry from a client and pawning it, the sheriff's office said.

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — An Iredell County house cleaner has been arrested and charged with stealing jewelry from a client, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
According to ICSO, the victim reported the jewelry theft from their home on Barry Oak Road in Statesville on Dec. 1 and provided information about a cleaning company she had recently hired to clean her home.
The cleaning company was owned by Tara Nicole Cleary, 27, of Jane Sowers Road in Statesville, the sheriff’s office said.

The jewelry was later located at a local business where it had been sold, and detectives verified that Cleary had been cleaning the victim’s home.
According to ICSO, additional victims are coming forward in other counties, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Cleary was arrested at her home later that same day and charged with felony breaking and entering, and felony larceny after breaking and entering. She was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Her secured bond was set at $10,000.
