Iredell Couple Charged With Robbery In Mooresville: Sheriff
The victim told authorities the couple gave him a ride to Mooresville, took his money and pushed him out of the car.
MOORESVILLE, NC — An Iredell County couple was arrested Monday, charged with robbing a man they were driving to Mooresville before pushing him out of the vehicle in a parking lot, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
The April 8 incident occurred in the 800 block of Mazeppa Road in Mooresville.
The victim told deputies that he had met with suspects identified as Christopher Jordan Minier, 27, and Bethany Janine Gibson, 26, in Statesville when they gave him a ride to Mooresville.

“They were going to a residence in the area of Mooresville, when Bethany pulled into a parking lot,” ICSO said in a statement. “Christopher then quickly got out of the front passenger side door, got into the back seat with the victim, took his money, and pushed him out of the car.”
After identifying the suspects, deputies received information about their whereabouts and apprehended the pair at a location on Mount Ulla Highway.

Minier, of Mooresville, was charged with felony common law robbery. His secured bond was set at $3,000.
Gibson, of Statesville, was charged with felony aid and abet common law robbery. Her secured bond was set at $1,000.
