Iredell Drug Bust Nabs Accused Meth Dealer

Two suspects face drug charges in Iredell County after neighbors tipped off law enforcement to high traffic at a Stony Point home.

STONY POINT, NC — Tips from neighbors who complained to law enforcement about a high volume of traffic coming and going at a Stony Point home led to two arrests stemming from the sale of methamphetamine, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

ICSO launched an investigation at the home in the 100 block of Dessie Lane in Stony Point after receiving the complaints, and documented “several hours” of methamphetamine purchases at the home during surveillance, according to Sheriff Darren Campbell.

Deputies then executed a search warrant Aug. 24, Campbell said in a statement Thursday.
